A pioneering figure in UK garage, 2-step, broken beat and UK funky, Zed Bias (also known as Maddslinky) has spent almost three decades shaping the sound of underground UK dance music. Archives Vol 1 revisits some of his most sought-after productions, bringing together tracks originally showcased on the now hard-to-find 'Boss' mini-album released via Swamp81.

Opening the EP, 'Boss Skank' delivers hypnotic, sub-heavy deep house grooves with rolling low-end pressure and the unmistakable swing that has defined Zed Bias’ productions for decades.
