Description

Key Records returns with KEY VA 001, a four-track various artists release bringing together Julian Anthony, Wilba, Darren Roach and Reflex Blue for a diverse selection of underground house music. Moving between spacious deep-house grooves, stripped-back deep tech, old-school influences and playful after-hours rhythms, each artist brings their own character while keeping the collection cohesive.

Opening the A-side, Julian Anthony’s “Stargazing” sets the tone with a spacious, driving groove, before Wilba’s “Head Noise” takes a darker and more stripped-back direction. The two tracks offer contrasting approaches to deep, club-focused production, balancing atmosphere with understated rhythmic pressure.

On the flip, Darren Roach delivers “Putting Things In Perspective”, bringing a strong old-school feel to the record. Reflex Blue closes the release with “Question”, a playful, after-hours cut suited to late-night sessions and deeper dancefloor moments.

With early DJ support from Enzo Siragusa, Traumer, Laidlaw, Voigtmann and Franco Cinelli, KEY VA 001 showcases four distinct takes on contemporary underground house, making it a versatile selection for DJs exploring deep house, deep tech and tech house.
