Description:

Armada Music and PDD present the A State Of Trance Classics Series, celebrating the influential A State Of Trance brand and its enduring place in global Trance culture. ASOT Classics Series, Vol. 1 brings together three defining trance tracks from Armin van Buuren, The Thrillseekers and Lange feat. Skye, pressed to 12 Inch Vinyl.

The release opens with Armin van Buuren – Communication (Original Mix), originally released in 1999 on Cyber Records. Widely recognised as a breakthrough track for Armin van Buuren, Communication combines a driving bassline with its instantly recognisable piano melody. The track went on to reach number 18 on the UK singles chart and became a key early release in Armin's career.

Flip the record for The Thrillseekers – Synaesthesia (En-Motion Extended Remix), the celebrated production from Steven Helstrip. Originally released more than 20 years ago, Synaesthesia has become a recognised classic within the Trance scene, with the En-Motion remix bringing its melodic, atmospheric sound back to vinyl.

Completing the release is Lange feat. Skye – Drifting Away (Extended Mix), originally released in 2002 on VC Recordings. Produced by Stuart Langelaan aka Lange and featuring vocalist Skye, the track rounds out the first volume with another classic example of early-2000s Trance.

ASOT Classics Series, Vol. 1 is an essential piece of vinyl for DJs and collectors into Classic Trance, A State Of Trance, melodic electronic music and the defining sounds of late-1990s and early-2000s trance.
