Format: 12 Inch Vinyl

Description:

A cheeky little rework of a stone-cold dancefloor classic, rEdit arrives as a mysterious, single-sided white label release on EEE. Taking a much-loved jazz house track built around a sample from Marlena Shaw, this anonymous re-editor gives the original a subtle but effective dancefloor refresh.

The edit retains the character of the original while adding a little extra low-end weight, bringing the snaking saxophone parts further into focus and making more of its familiar vocal sample and groovy jazz percussion. The result is a gently tooled-up, rolling version that stays true to the spirit of the classic while giving it a fresh twist.

Pressed as a single-sided, handstamped white label 12 inch, EEE001 keeps things suitably understated. A tidy rework for fans of deep house, jazz house and sample-led dancefloor edits.
