Description

Stompa Phunk resident and mysterious producer Sound Klash returns with Sound Klash 02, a heavyweight double-header of raw, analogue-driven house music built for the heads. Rooted in vintage hardware, overdriven textures and sample-heavy production, this second instalment channels the uncompromising underground spirit that has powered Stompa Phunk's dancefloors since 1996.

On the A-side, French Dub (Sound Klash Mix) transforms a proto-house-era gem into a dark, moody and bass-heavy slice of early-morning house hedonism. Over on the flip, Don't Turn (Sound Klash Horror Edit) brings a suspenseful edge to a nostalgic acid house groove, combining chunky bass, stuttering vocal samples and shuffling drum machine rhythms.

Celebrating the Brighton crew's long-standing commitment to heavyweight, no-compromise dance music, this release delivers a potent blend of sampledelia, jackin' rhythms, acid energy and classic disco-dub attitude. No trends, no polish for polish's sake – just raw, physical music for underground dancefloors.
