The veteran Australian producer has built the Slick Cuts series around carefully reworking familiar favourites for contemporary club systems. Rather than simply extending the originals, Sgt Slick adds extra punch, tighter arrangements and House-driven energy while retaining the hooks and grooves that made the source material so memorable.

Opening the record is 'Shampagne', a warm, groove-heavy reworking of a much-loved Boogie classic. The original groove is straightened out and reinforced with a tougher Disco House backbone, giving the track extra weight while preserving its feel-good character.

'Paradise' follows with a bigger and bolder approach, leaning into the sound of turn-of-the-'90s House and Disco. Euphoric, energetic and immediately familiar, it's another party-focused edit designed to connect classic Disco songwriting with modern club production.
