Following a catalogue that includes three previous albums on Ninja Tune, the UK producer and renowned sample craftsman channels his distinctive approach into a richly detailed journey through Trip-Hop, Downtempo, Broken Beat, House and experimental Electronica. Across 13 tracks, Archie Fairhurst explores the anxieties and contradictions of modern life while retaining the colourful, sample-driven grooves that have become central to the Romare sound.

Known for digging deep into recorded history and reshaping fragments of music, speech and culture into something entirely new, Archie Fairhurst takes a particularly contextual approach on 'Oblivion'.
