Description:

Micky More & Andy Tee present Paolo Fedreghini – Jazz House Rituals EP, a superb four-track collection of organic jazz house, soulful house and funky house released on Groove Culture. Blending sophisticated jazz arrangements with infectious dancefloor rhythms, this essential 12 inch vinyl EP showcases the unmistakable musicality of one of the Italian nu-jazz scene's most respected figures.

A key figure in Italian nu-jazz and jazz-funk for decades, Paolo Fedreghini is best known for his work with the F.A.M. and The Invisible Session collectives, as well as his more recent FAM Disco project. Remarkably, this release marks his first solo vinyl outing since the 2000s, making Jazz House Rituals a particularly special addition to his catalogue. Across four beautifully produced tracks, Fedreghini combines rich live instrumentation, including saxophones, flutes, trumpets and organic drums, with warm analogue textures and contemporary house production.

Opening with 'Happy Feeling', a sun-soaked, Brazilian-influenced slice of jazz house packed with infectious percussion and duelling horn solos, the EP immediately sets a feel-good tone. 'Smoking Area' takes things into deeper, more nocturnal territory, pairing stretched-out vibraphone solos with smoky female vocal samples for a beautifully atmospheric, St Germain-esque groove. On the B-side, 'In The Mood' delivers a deeper and more evocative take on bluesy soulful house, while 'Taste Of Honey' rounds things off with a summery, flute-led dancefloor delight. A beautifully balanced selection of sophisticated jazz influences, live instrumentation and irresistible house rhythms.

Already receiving heavyweight DJ support from Louie Vega, Joe Claussell, Danny Krivit, DJ Spen, Ron Trent, Don Carlos, Sandy Rivera, Emmaculate and Souldynamic, this is a standout release for fans of organic house music and jazz-influenced dancefloor sounds.

Essential for DJs and collectors looking for quality jazz house vinyl, soulful house 12 inch records, funky house vinyl and the distinctive sound of Paolo Fedreghini on Groove Culture.
