Metroplane – 'Be Where I Am' finally lands on vinyl for the first time, bringing the much-loved 2019 club anthem to 12 inch vinyl via Sweat It Out. Featuring a powerful vocal performance from Daniel Wilson, the original is joined on the B-side by a new remix from US electronic music pioneer Morgan Geist.

Metroplane is the collaborative project of Alex Metric and Vito, with 'Be Where I Am' becoming a slow-burning club favourite following its original release in 2019. Built around Wilson's soaring, soulful vocal, a distinctive bassline and polished Deep House production, the track balances emotional songwriting with the kind of groove designed to work equally well on a dancefloor.

The A-side features the Original Mix in all its glory. Daniel Wilson's vocal gradually climbs above warm House production and a tightly controlled, rolling bassline, creating a timeless crossover between Deep House, Club House and soulful electronic pop. Its understated but effective production helped the track find its way into DJ sets long after its initial release.

On the flip, Morgan Geist brings his unmistakable touch to 'Be Where I Am', reshaping the track into a darker and weightier club interpretation. A hugely influential figure in electronic music, Geist is best known as one half of the pioneering duo Metro Area and as the producer behind Storm Queen, whose 'Look Right Through' reached number one in the UK.

Where the original balances uplifting soulfulness with a deep club groove, the Morgan Geist Remix brings additional depth and atmosphere, offering DJs a contrasting version while retaining the emotional pull of Wilson's vocal.
