Description

Medlar & Stu Clark – Bandit Country sees one of Wolf Music's original artists return to the label, teaming up once again with co-owner Stu Clark for a four-track deep house release. Featuring two original productions and a pair of remixes from UK house legend Nail, the EP brings together soulful grooves, underground heritage and timeless dancefloor appeal.

Since breaking through on Wolf Music in 2011 with the now-classic Terrell, Medlar has become known for his warm, sample-driven production, infectious rhythms and soulful melodies. His debut album, Sleep, further established his distinctive sound, while a wide-ranging catalogue of releases and collaborations has continued to showcase his versatility.

Taking remix duties is Nail, aka Neil Tolliday, the Nottingham-born DJ and producer whose roots in underground house stretch back to the early '90s. Emerging from the influential DiY collective, he has released music on respected labels including Classic, Robsoul Recordings, Traxx Underground and Fear of Flying. Here, he brings his unmistakable touch to reworks of both original tracks, making Bandit Country an essential addition for deep house DJs and Wolf Music fans alike.
