The A-side features ‘I Wanna Be Where You Are’, originally written by the incredible songwriting partnership of Leon Ware and Arthur ‘T-Boy’ Ross, with Ware also handling production duties. Originally released as a short album interlude, this previously unheard extended version transforms the track into a stunning standalone soul masterpiece, stretching beyond six minutes with warm funk grooves, uplifting instrumentation and Marvin Gaye’s unmistakable emotional delivery.

On the flip, ‘I Want You’ showcases another side of Marvin Gaye’s evolving sound.
