LA-based producer Luxxury returns with 'Vol 7' on Exxpensive Sounding Music, bringing four more sought-after edits from his acclaimed reworks series to 12 inch vinyl. Moving through Disco, Nu Disco, Pop Disco, New Wave and leftfield funk, the EP takes familiar favourites and reshapes them into stylish, groove-heavy versions made with the dancefloor firmly in mind.

Known for digging beneath the surface of classic and contemporary songs to highlight their most infectious musical elements, Luxxury has built a reputation for inventive Disco edits that feel both familiar and refreshingly different. Next up, 'Rap Chore' turns its attention to Blondie's 'Rapture'. Slowed into a slinky, funk-driven groove, the edit places extra emphasis on the track's bassline and guitar work, highlighting the collision of New Wave, Disco and early Hip-Hop that made the original such an influential crossover record.

On the flip, 'Groove Prove' tackles Madonna's 'Into The Groove', focusing on the irresistible sixteenth-note bassline at the heart of the 80s Pop classic.
