To The Rock Records returns after an 18-month hiatus with Visions Of Love EP, the label debut from Paris-based producer Lucas Moinet. Drawing inspiration from the foundational sounds of Chicago house, Detroit house and New York house, Moinet delivers a sophisticated collection of deep, soulful club music rooted firmly in dance music's rich heritage.

Known for projects including Keraw, Groove Boys Project and Projecture, Lucas Moinet has built a reputation for blending the timeless warmth of 90s house with the refined production aesthetics of the 2000s. Across this EP, jazz-infused drums, rich chords and weighty low-end grooves come together in a sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly contemporary.

Opening the release, “Larry Vickers At The Loft” pays tribute to the legendary David Mancuso and the spirit of The Loft, combining vibraphone flourishes, New Jersey-inspired organ riffs and rolling basslines into a hypnotic deep house journey. “Playin 4 The Stars” follows with swinging drums, jazzy electric piano chords and expressive trumpet motifs that capture the soulful elegance of classic European and US house music.

On the B-side, “Visions Of Love Deeper Dub” explores ultra-deep territory with warm atmospheres and sunrise-ready textures, while “Archives From The Past” closes the EP with uplifting vocal samples, breezy grooves and a heartfelt nod to the golden era of New York and New Jersey soulful house.
