Do or Don't marks the triumphant return of Chicago's Stilove4music — the celebrated Still Music offshoot and home of edit, rework and sample-heavy disco, boogie and jazz-funk floor tools — after years of dormancy. This is the label's 52nd release since its creation in 2005, fittingly delivered by label boss and Chicago scene stalwart Jerome Derradji himself, recorded at the Hirsch Society For Togetherness in Chicago circa 2025. You know the drill: Midwest disco floor bangers made strictly for discerning DJs.

The A-side opens with 'Disco Don't' — a seriously sweaty, loose-limbed and organic chunk of mazy disco-funk madness that builds and intensifies relentlessly, a fast-paced, peak-time floor destroyer built for maximum dancefloor damage. On the B-side, 'Jazz Do' shifts gears into a mellower, more psychedelic jazz-funk zone, featuring Derradji on live piano, Fender Rhodes and Korg DV800 — elastic bass, swirling strings and jazzy guitar licks weaving together into a seductive, slo-mo disco groove of the highest order. Closing the EP, 'Never' is a cowbell-powered, orchestrated disco brilliance — a groove-heavy floor filler bursting with Brazilian love and elevated with additional programming from Jerome himself.
