Description:

London-based DJ and producer Hilit Kolet launches her Hot M3ss Edits series with three sought-after reworks, bringing some of her tried-and-tested DJ secret weapons to vinyl. Known for high-energy, forward-thinking club music and releases on respected labels including REKIDS, Defected, Bush and COD3 QR, Kolet delivers a powerful collection of edits designed to ignite peak-time dancefloors.

Opening with 'Do You Want Your Soul', Kolet transforms a familiar 90s vocal House favourite into a muscular, percussion-driven club workout, retaining its soulful appeal while adding relentless energy and a tougher groove. 'Peace In The City' follows with a hands-aloft House sound, built around a rich piano-led vocal breakdown and an uplifting, extended arrangement made for big-room moments.

Completing the release, 'Clap Your Hands' explores a more exotic direction, layering Middle Eastern influences and darbuka percussion into a hypnotic House groove. Across all three tracks, Kolet balances soulful foundations with punchy rhythms and extended DJ-friendly arrangements, breathing new life into classic-inspired sounds for contemporary dancefloors.

With support from an impressive range of selectors including Laurent Garnier, Radio Slave, Carl Cox, Eliza Rose, Peggy Gou, Carlita, Skream, Riva Starr and Anja Schneider, Hot M3ss Edits Vol 1 is a strong choice for DJs looking for high-impact edits that bring familiar musical ideas into fresh club territory. This limited vinyl pressing makes the series debut one to catch while it's available.
