Description:

Green Velvet makes his Circus Recordings debut with Bigger Than Prince, a standout vocal-driven house track that showcases the distinctive style of the Chicago legend. Born from a conversation between Yousef and Green Velvet during the Indonesian leg of the Circus Tour, the track was created for the Circus X compilation celebrating ten years of Circus events.

Bigger Than Prince is classic Green Velvet, pairing his unmistakable vocal delivery with quirky, driving production and a memorable hook. Growling bass synths, a measured rhythmic strut and subtle disco influences give the track a powerful Tech House character, while Green Velvet's lyrics take aim at some of the less earnest quirks of dance music culture.

The remix package brings together two major names from the modern house and techno scene. The Martinez Brothers deliver a rolling, percussion-focused interpretation designed for big-room mixing, while Hot Since 82 pushes the track into peak-time territory with a driving, energetic remix built for the dancefloor.

Bigger Than Prince is perfect for DJs and collectors into Tech House, Chicago House, Experimental Techno, classic vocal house, rolling percussion and peak-time club music.
