This new edition brings together classic versions alongside fresh input from Joris Voorn and Detroit legend Kevin Saunderson.

Originally championed by some of the world's most influential DJs, including Pete Tong, Dave Clarke and Sven Väth, 'Diabla' quickly established itself as one of the standout electronic tracks of the early 2000s. Its combination of driving rhythms, emotional melodies and an unforgettable low end helped it transcend genre boundaries, remaining equally at home in house and techno sets more than two decades later.

Behind Funk D'Void is Scottish producer Lars Sandberg, an artist who has been part of the international electronic music scene since the mid-1990s. Beginning his DJ career at just 15 and raised by a professional concert pianist, Sandberg developed an early connection with music that would eventually lead to a long-running career as a respected DJ and producer. 'Diabla' remains one of the clearest examples of his ability to combine club functionality with rich melodic songwriting.

Opening the reissue, Joris Voorn x Funk D'Void – 'Diabla' respectfully updates the original for contemporary dancefloors.
