Frankie Knuckles's groundbreaking work in Chicago’s underground scene transformed into a global phenomenon, earning him collaborations with icons such as Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson. His death on March 31st, 2014, marked the end of an era, but his musical legacy continues to inspire generations.

Eric Kupper, a prolific DJ, producer, and songwriter with over 116 Billboard #1 Dance Records, has worked closely with Frankie for decades. Since founding Director’s Cut in 2011, Eric has crafted modern remixes of Frankie’s classics, blending the legendary “Def Mix” sound with contemporary dancefloor energy. This collection brings together their most iconic reworks, original productions, and previously unreleased versions, presented in a striking gatefold design.
