Description:

Franck Roger returns to the archives of his legendary Real Tone Records label for the sixth instalment of the acclaimed Real Tone Classics series. Bringing together four carefully selected cuts of buried dancefloor treasure, Real Tone Classics Vol 6 delivers a deep selection of Soulful House, Deep House and French House across a limited-edition 12 inch vinyl release.

A central figure in the French Deep House scene, Franck Roger has been running Real Tone Records for more than two decades, establishing the label as a home for warm, soulful and groove-led House music. The Classics series digs back through that catalogue to highlight tracks that deserve another spin on contemporary dancefloors.

Opening the A-side is 'Why Don't You Stay', featuring the soulful vocals of Rona Ray. Warm, summery and full of bounce, the track combines a deep House groove with a beautifully delivered vocal, creating a feel-good cut with plenty of Soulful House character.

'Volt' follows with a very different mood, moving into woozy, intergalactic territory. Its late-night shuffle and hazy electronic textures create a hypnotic Deep House groove that feels equally suited to intimate club spaces and after-hours sessions.

The B-side opens with 'Mister Henderson', a warm and uplifting House cut built around lilting synth motifs, rich chords and delicate musical details. It's a smooth, smile-inducing track that captures the melodic and soulful side of the Real Tone sound.

Closing the record, 'My Own Thing' delivers a deeper and more bass-heavy experience. Hazy textures, weighty low-end and a rolling groove place it firmly within Franck Roger's signature style, rounding off the release with a classic piece of warm, understated French Deep House.

Perfect for DJs and collectors into Franck Roger vinyl, Real Tone Records, Soulful House, Deep House, French House and warm, groove-focused electronic music. With four carefully selected archive cuts, Real Tone Classics Vol 6 is a strong snapshot of the label's distinctive sound and a valuable addition to any Deep House collection.
