Five Green Moons return with Moon 3, the third album in Justin Robertson’s adventurous psychedelic project. Released on Solitary Cyclist, this 11-track journey pushes further into the project's distinctive world of dub grooves, ambient textures, mind-altering electronics and dreamlike musical experimentation.

Moving between post-punk dub, angular electro-folk and pastoral psychedelia, Moon 3 draws on a wide spectrum of influences. Expect the Balearic dub atmosphere of “Under the Light of the Five Green Moons”, the experimental dub-rock of “Marking With Chimes” and the hypnotic dub-exotica of “Divine Darkness”. Deep basslines, ghostly chants and warped electronic frequencies give the album an otherworldly character, balancing exploratory sounds with an unmistakable sense of groove.

The album also features two notable collaborations. Celebrated author David Keenan contributes a remarkable spoken-word narrative to “To Haunt of the Dark Earth A Spot”, while underground electronic producer Nickelle adds her poetry to the psychedelic swirl of “Message From the Tone Generator”. With echoes of Public Image Limited, African Head Charge, Don Cherry and King Tubby, this is a richly textured release for listeners drawn to the more adventurous corners of Balearic, ambient and dub music.
