Description:

Danny Howells delivers Godsexy on Selador Recordings, a three-track 12 Inch Vinyl release moving between deep, melodic Progressive House, disco-infused grooves and techno-charged dancefloor energy. Across the EP, Howells brings together detailed production, twisted percussion, lush chords, hypnotic samples and powerful club-focused arrangements.

The title track Godsexy throbs and bounces with an uplifting energy while retaining plenty of depth, gradually revealing layer after layer of intricate production. Deep, melodic and rhythmically engaging, it sits comfortably between Progressive House and Deep House, with a cerebral quality that remains firmly connected to the dancefloor.

On the B-side, Hotrocks is the vinyl-only bonus cut, delivering a heads-down, techno-infused rave workout. Driven by relentless energy and a hard-edged club feel, it's a serious piece of Techno-influenced House built for late-night dancefloors.

Closing the release, Shutdown combines house and disco influences with Danny Howells' characteristically off-kilter production style. A twisted percussive loop and seductive vocal sample sit alongside hypnotically funky guitar licks and lush chords, creating a compelling meeting point between Disco House, analogue textures and modern electronic production.

With his experience as John Digweed's warm-up DJ at Bedrock for nine years, Danny Howells brings a wealth of club knowledge to Godsexy. The release is a strong choice for DJs and collectors looking for sophisticated Progressive House, Disco House and Deep House with a distinctly underground edge.
