Description:

D Stone returns on Forever Days with Envision, a deep and melodic 12 Inch Vinyl release featuring a fresh remix from Berlin-based DJ and producer Julya Karma. Blending sustained bass, dreamy chords, crunchy Deep House beats, swirling synth strings and dewy vocal samples, the release showcases D Stone's distinctive approach to modern House and Electronica.

Born into a musical family, Amsterdam producer D Stone — the artistic alias of Daan Steenman — has developed a sound rooted in live instrumentation and electronic production. After learning piano from the age of eight and guitar at twelve, he discovered electronic music as a teenager before moving into DJing and production. His music draws inspiration from 70s and 80s Disco, Funk, Garage and 90s Tech House, combining organic instrumentation with forward-thinking electronic production.

Originally released digitally in 2024, Envision is now pressed to black wax for the first time. The original mix is a sparkling, melodic Deep House cut built around deep sustained bass, dreamy chords, crisp beats, swirling synth strings and atmospheric vocal samples. D Stone's releases on Heist, Semi Delicious and Cecile have helped establish him as an artist to watch within Amsterdam's electronic music scene.

On the flip, Julya Karma reworks Envision with nostalgic synth bass, shuffling house rhythms, hand percussion and tight organ-style loops. Emerging from Brooklyn's underground and now based in Berlin, Julya Karma brings her own exploratory approach to the track, combining key elements of the original with a more percussive and groove-led production style.

Envision + Julya Karma Remix has received DJ support from Mochakk, Joseph Capriati, Jamie Jones, Purple Disco Machine, Groove Armada, Marco Carola, Keinemusik, Jody Wisternoff / Way Out West, Eelke Kleijn, Innervisions affiliates and many others, making this a strong addition for DJs and collectors into Deep House, House and melodic Electronica.
