Description:

Christian Smith returns to his melodic roots with L'Amour Toujours, a progressive House and Techno release on his long-running Tronic label. Moving towards a more emotive, groove-led sound, the original mix pairs a disco-influenced bassline with crisp hi-hats, subtle electronic textures and a stirring chord progression that unfolds during the break.

For the remix package, Argentine progressive House legend Hernán Cattáneo joins forces with Kevin Di Serna to deliver a hypnotic, melodic rework that brings the original's emotive chords to the forefront. Their version builds atmosphere through delicate percussion and trance-tinged textures, making it a compelling choice for extended sets and late-night dancefloors.

On the flip, Colombian producer Kamilo Sanclemente stays closer to the original's core, elevating the track with a powerful, chord-driven progression designed to build energy across the room. Italian maestro Gai Barone takes a more adventurous route, reshaping the track into a mind-bending interpretation filled with unexpected twists and intricate melodic detail.

Bringing together four distinct takes on emotive electronic music, L'Amour Toujours bridges Progressive House, Melodic House and Techno with a balance of driving grooves, expansive harmonies and hypnotic atmosphere. A strong addition for DJs who favour melodic journeys and carefully constructed dancefloor momentum.
