Description:

UK disco heavyweight Al Kent returns to one of his most celebrated productions with 'Come Back Home (Again)', reworking his classic disco sound alongside The Disco Love Orchestra for a spectacular, live-instrumentation-driven take on a modern disco anthem. Released on Big Love, this limited 7 inch vinyl single draws on the golden age of 1970s dancefloor music, combining rich Philly soul influences, soaring orchestral arrangements and powerful vocals with the energy of contemporary disco.

Originally released 26 years ago under his Secret Sounds alias, Al Kent's 'Come Back Home' became a standout example of disco house, blending sample-rich production with the lush strings and soulful arrangements of classic Philadelphia disco. For 'Come Back Home (Again)', Kent revisits the track with The Disco Love Orchestra, a collective of musicians dedicated to recreating the sound and spirit of classic disco using live instrumentation. The result is a beautifully revitalised production that honours the original while bringing its irresistible groove to a new generation of disco lovers.

Split into two parts across the A-side and B-side, this disco 45 delivers an all-live musical experience built around soulful male vocals, smooth bass guitar, sweeping strings, infectious hand percussion and driving, sweat-soaked rhythms. With a distinctly Philly soul sound-bed and hooks that stay with you long after the record stops spinning, 'Come Back Home (Again)' captures everything that makes Al Kent such a respected figure in the UK disco revival. It's warm, uplifting and tailor-made for packed dancefloors, sunset sessions and soulful DJ sets.

The release has attracted support from an impressive selection of respected DJs and selectors, including Moodymann, Groove Armada, Folamour, Horse Meat Disco, DJ Deep, Art Of Tones, Sophie Lloyd, Terry Farley, Stuart Patterson and Seamus Haji. Pressed on a dinked-hole 7 inch vinyl single, this limited release is an essential pick for collectors of disco vinyl, soul, disco house and uplifting dancefloor classics.

Perfect for DJs and collectors seeking 7 inch disco records, modern disco anthems and the timeless sounds of Al Kent, 'Come Back Home (Again)' is a powerful celebration of classic disco craftsmanship, brought back to life with a fresh, full-bodied sound.
